The wait for Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam may stretch further, with reports suggesting that filming could begin in June 2027. The proposed schedule remains tentative, and fans are awaiting a definitive production update from the makers.
The sequel is expected to reunite Prabhas with Prithviraj Sukumaran, whose relationship with the lead character was central to the first instalment’s dramatic appeal. Directed by Prashanth Neel, the next chapter is expected to return audiences to the fictional world of Khansaar, where power struggles, loyalty and personal rivalries drive the story.
The original film established a strong following through its stylised action, dark atmosphere and larger-than-life characters. That success has placed considerable expectations on its successor.
However, a reported shooting date is not the same as a confirmed release schedule. Production commitments, filming requirements and post-production work can all affect the timeline.
For fans, the immediate question is when cameras will roll again. For the filmmakers, the larger challenge is delivering a sequel that builds on the first film without losing its distinctive appeal.
