₹11,732 crore on the table: Is a jobs boom coming to Rayalaseema?
TIRUPATI: Thousands of job seekers across Rayalaseema have a fresh reason to watch the investment scene. Andhra Pradesh has attracted proposals worth ₹11,731.68 crore through 67 MoUs signed at a regional investment conference at Sri City.

The projects could create 20,879 jobs across five districts, including Tirupati, Chittoor and Annamayya. Electronics, tourism, footwear, automobiles and food processing are among the sectors drawing interest. Sri City alone could host 18 proposed projects. The big question now is how quickly these plans turn into factories and jobs. For local youth, the real news will be when companies begin hiring.
