KK Survey puts Naidu-led NDA on tightrope

VIJAYAWADA: KK Survey founder Kondeti Kiran has entered politics through the Ekam platform, drawing attention in Andhra Pradesh ahead of local body elections.

Kiran recently released survey findings highlighting public concerns over drinking water, irrigation, roads and sanitation in government schools.

According to the reported findings, 59% of respondents were unhappy with drinking water supply, while 53% raised concerns over irrigation facilities and poor roads. Another 42% pointed to sanitation problems in government schools.

The findings put basic public services in focus as the Naidu-led NDA government continues to highlight welfare schemes and development programmes.

Kiran’s move from survey work to politics also raises questions about how his survey findings will be viewed alongside Ekam’s political activities. However, the reported figures do not establish whether his entry will affect the NDA’s electoral support in Andhra Pradesh.
