Prabhas’ Fauzi teaser faces historical controversy
Prabhas’ upcoming film Fauzi has run into controversy after Chandra Kumar Bose, grandnephew of freedom fighter Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, reportedly objected to the teaser. He has demanded that the filmmakers withdraw it, apologise and correct what he considers a distortion of historical events.

The objection reportedly centres on the film’s portrayal of Netaji’s meeting with Adolf Hitler. The controversy has brought attention to the challenges filmmakers face when presenting historical figures and events on screen.
Period dramas often combine documented history with fictional storytelling. However, such portrayals can attract criticism when viewers believe that important historical personalities have been misrepresented.
The makers’ response to the objection will be closely watched as interest grows in Prabhas’ project.
