Actress Nayanthara has become the centre of attention after a towering 60-foot cutout featuring her divine appearance was erected at Vels Theatres in Chembarambakkam, near Chennai, ahead of the release of Mookuthi Amman 2. The massive installation has sparked discussion about the actress’s star power in an industry where such displays have traditionally celebrated leading male actors.

Nayanthara’s co-star Regina Cassandra praised the development on social media, calling it a remarkable milestone for a female actor. Directed by Sundar C, the devotional fantasy entertainer is scheduled to hit theatres on November 6. The film also features Urvashi, Duniya Vijay and Yogi Babu in key roles.
