The annual Srivari Brahmotsavam concluded on Sunday with the Chakra Snanam ritual at the Swami Pushkarini, drawing one of the largest crowds in recent years. Temple officials estimated that over six lakh devotees had darshan during the nine days of the festival.
New queue-line arrangements at the Vaikuntham Queue Complex, combined with time-slot tokens issued in Tirupati, kept waiting times under control even on the Garuda Seva night, when the hill town saw its heaviest rush.
Officials thanked volunteers, Srivari Sevaks and the police for their coordination, and said a detailed review of the arrangements will be used to plan next year's festival.
