Bus overturns on national highway; all passengers rescued

A private bus overturned on the national highway early on Monday after skidding on a wet stretch of road. All 38 passengers were rescued by local residents and police.

Eleven passengers with minor injuries were taken to the government hospital and are reported to be stable.

Police have registered a case and are examining whether overspeeding was a factor.
