Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy

At MeeThought E-Commerce Private Limited, we take pride in the quality and purity of our agricultural products.
Due to the nature of our business (Food, Spices, and Nutraceuticals), our Return Policy is strictly governed
by health, hygiene, and safety regulations.
Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.
1. Non-Returnable Items (General Rule)
All food products sold on www.meethought.com are Non-Returnable.
For health and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on perishable goods, consumable items,
or personal care products once they have been dispatched. This includes, but is not limited to:
- A2 Cow Ghee
- Herbal & Fruit Powders
- Jaggery & Sweeteners
- Spices (Whole or Powdered)
- Essential Oils
Why? Once a food item leaves our temperature-controlled facility, we cannot guarantee its storage
conditions during a return trip, making it unsafe for resale.
2. Exceptions: When is a Refund or Replacement Possible?
We stand by our quality. You are eligible for a Free Replacement or Full Refund only under the following circumstances:
A. Damaged or Leaking Product If the package arrives physically damaged, leaking, or the safety seal is broken.
B. Wrong Item Delivered If you received a product different from what you ordered (e.g., you ordered Turmeric but received Chilli Powder).
C. Expired Product In the rare event that you receive a product past its expiry date.
3. How to Claim a Refund/Replacement
If your situation falls under the "Exceptions" listed above, you must follow this procedure:

Notify Us Immediately: You must email us at [Insert Support Email] or WhatsApp [Insert Number] within 48 hours of delivery.

Submit Proof: Your email must include:
- Order Number.
- Clear Photos/Video of the damaged or wrong product (showing the label and damage).
- Photo of the outer shipping box/label.

Verification: Our quality team will review the evidence within 1-2 business days.

Resolution:
- If verified, we will dispatch a Replacement immediately (free of cost).
- If a replacement is not available, we will issue a Full Refund to your original payment method.
4. Cancellation Policy
- Before Dispatch: You may cancel your order for a full refund if the request is made before the product has been dispatched from our warehouse.
- After Dispatch: Once the tracking number is generated and the product is handed over to the courier, cancellations are not accepted.
5. International Orders (Exports)
For our global customers (USA, EU, UAE, etc.), the following additional terms apply:

Customs Rejection: If a shipment is returned or destroyed by your country's Customs Department
due to a lack of proper import licenses or documentation on the buyer's part, no refund will be issued.
It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure the product is allowed in their country.

Unclaimed Packages: If the courier attempts delivery and the customer is unavailable,
or if the customer refuses to pay import duties, resulting in the package being returned or destroyed,
no refund will be provided.

Damage in Transit: For international shipments, we recommend opting for shipping insurance.
If insured, damages will be covered as per the insurance policy terms.
6. Refund Timeline
If a refund is approved:
- Online Payments: The amount will be refunded to the original source (Credit Card/Bank) within 5-7 business days.
- UPI/Wallets: Refunds typically reflect within 24-48 hours.
