Auto Mains Failure Panel (AMF)
AMF is the short form of Auto Mains Failure panel. It is connected to the generator set to control its operation automatically.
The AMF panel is linked to the main switchboard, which receives power from the utility through an automatic transfer switch or changeover contactor. It continuously monitors the mains; when the supply fails, it signals the DG set to start and the generator powers the main switchboard.
When the mains is restored, the panel transfers the load back and stops the generator after a cool-down period — without any manual intervention.
Key Features
- Automatic DG start on mains failure
- Automatic load transfer & re-transfer
- Microprocessor AMF controller
