SLP Spinning Mills Private Limited is one of the leading mills in India producing high quality medium and fine count cotton yarn for sensitive consumers in India and various other countries.

Operations began in 2006, promoted by our founder Shri T.V. Seshagiri Rao and Sri D. Suryaprakasa Rao, Managing Director. The mill stands near Chebrolu Donka (towards Tenali), Narakoduru, Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh, with group unit Tharuni Spintex Pvt Ltd on the same campus.

Every yarn we make is 100% combed compact cotton, from Ne 40/1 to Ne 100/1, spun from MCU5 cotton grown within 100 km of the mill and ginned in our own factory.

Our Growth

From one line to four

Each new line has added capacity and newer machinery, on the same campus near Chebrolu Donka.

2006-07
SLPS First Line
Operations begin with 12,000 spindles, on Truetzschler and Rieter preparatory machinery.
2011-12
SLPS Second Line
17,280 spindles added, with KTTM ring frames and an Amsler slub system.
2016-17
SLPS Third Line
18,240 spindles added, with Schlafhorst AC6 auto coners and Luwa humidification.

22,800 spindles on the same campus, taking group capacity to 70,320 spindles.

With almost four decades in the textile industry as a cotton ginner, Sri Suryaprakasa Rao owns ginning mills in Guntur, where MCU5 cotton gives the best results for medium and fine counts. His insight into sourcing raw material is what keeps SLP's yarn quality consistent, season after season.
